4FRNT MSP - Worth it?

One of my friends is selling his MSP's without bindings, used but in good condition, for $100. I would hop on this but I ski in the east on a very small Ice hill and I only ski park pretty much. I have punx right now but I'm wondering if I should just get these for pow days and when I go to saddleback?

And one for problem - I'm 5'9" and these are 171s. Will I outgrow them by the time I grow a couple inches?

And also, would they be good for park at all?

some skis run a bit longer or shorter than they advertise. i am about 5'11 and am rocking the k2 169 domains, because they run up to about 174 (they were equivalent in size to the line chronics 176), and i also enjoy slightly shorter skis.

I would probably pick them up for that cheap anyways though man! worst comes to worst, you have them lying around for that sacred east coast powder day, or you sell them later for a small profit.

Yes...MSP is a great ski. $100 bucks...cant go wrong.

For 100 bucks? I'd do it. Even if they end up being too short, you always can make them into rock skis.
