Atomic Punx Sizing help

I'm interested in getting the 2013 atomic punx, but I'm not sure what size to ride. The ski comes in 173 and 182. I'm about 6' 1"/ 6'2" ish and around 148 pounds. I previously skied the line mastermind size 177. I'm afraid the 173 will be too small, however I think I'll be more comfortable on these...182 just seems like a massive ski to throw around. Any advice?

go with the 182 im 5'7 and ski the 173 punx and its perfect. plus its a pretty light ski so if it is a little big it makes up for it. the ski is great tho

bump, Im barely 150 lbs, won't the 182 just be massive for me even at almost 6'2"?

No. Hight is a bigger problem. And I hear the longer the ski, the more the butter.

not at all, go for the 182. this ski is so light you won't even feel it. If you take the 173 you will regret it

I'm just afraid that they'll be clumsy for rails and around the mountain...the 177 is the biggest I've ever skied, idk if its worth it to go to 182 or pick another ski with a 176-79 ish length

I'm 5'10 and weight almost 20 pounds less than you and I couldn't be happier with the 182.

182. Seriously. I'm 6'2" as well and I have 183 cm park skis now. If anything, I'd want them to be longer. Probably gonna try to find some 185 cm skis next.

Do not get the 173. They will be too short.

You will not feel the extra 2 inches of the 182cm Punx compared to your 177cm. It's only one inch in front of your boot, and one inch behind. Think of it that way. But you will gain stability on landings and edge grip on the groomers. This ski is so light that you will never have a problem with swing weight.

I'm skinny as fuck bro, 6 2 or 3 and only weigh 130 pounds. I just got 182 Punx, and I love them. It took a little getting used to, but they are awesome now.


I also work out 3 days a week and bench 125. Still skinny as ballz...
