So I have $300 to spend on some new photo/video gear, and I'm wondering what I should buy. I was originally going to put it towards upgrading my computer, but I might use it to buy a new mic or something. Is it worth it to buy a rode videomic? I have an audio techinca atr6550 right now, and a T2i, sigma 18-50 2.8-4, flycam nano, 55-250, 28 1.9 vintage, 50mm 1.8 canon, and my friend's old tamron 10-24.
Also how wide is the rokinon 8mm lens compared to say the 18mm, or the 10mm on the 10-24, how much wider is it? Is the 2mm difference big or small?
I might just save the money and use the gear I have, just wondering how big of a difference it would make
