The truth is that plagerism is a huge issue. It's not just copying entire papers, but also stealing ideas from sources without citing them. I don't take offense to it at all. Since I
do write all of my own stuff, I have no reason to get worried about it. My belief is that it's more offensive to a teacher to plagerize and think you can get away with it than it is for a teacher to make you submit your paper for examination. Nobody is accusing you of plagerism because everybody in the class has to do it. If you're that worried about plagerism take this advice. 'when in doubt, cite it'. Basically, if you think you might have gotten the idea from a source at some point in time (lecture, book, news article, etc.), cite that source at the end of that idea.
