Looking for hip/ass pads

NS, I'm tired of having bruised hips every time I huck meat in park, I'm looking for some good protectors. Anyone have any good suggestions? Not trying to spend too much money

Threads because I'm looking for some to. Tired of getting hip and butt shred from icy landings. I was looking at POC's shorts, they look pretty nice and slim fitting and appear to have the most coverage of any short. I have a buddy that does pretty well of with a pair of REDs aswell.

Was in the exact same boat as you last year. I did a ton of research and bought a pair of these:

Definitely worth the investment. You can still feel the force if you fall on your hip(s) but these alleviate most of the blow and would help your hips for sure. They are a great value too.

Foam, no matter how supposedly impact ready it is, isn't going to do shit if you slide out on a box or rail. If you do get impact shorts make sure you get something with D3o or VPD whatever other knock offs have popped up out there. If you don't know what D3o is, google that shit, because it's amazing.

i would just go with a football girdle with built in hip pads from your local sporting goods store

I wore a nike combat armor girdle for football. I'd assume it would work for skiing as well. Built in pads right on the spot that gets fucked up on your hips when you hit the deck.

Got the demon snow d30 pads this year and they've been so worth it. Lets you keep throwing down on icy east coast days without coming home black and blue. Low profile enough to wear under my proper-fitting snowpants, maybe even skinnies. Only downside is they don't breathe well.
