I am looking for different angles to shoot from when filming in the park. I have a wide angle lens and when I get to filming, all of my followcams/still shots look weird and out of place... Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Try being in front of your rider. For jumps you could be on the knuckle and as they take off start riding down the landing. For rails you can ride switch looking back at the rail. I like using shots like that for double angles and shit
Whenever I try to film in front of the rider I get afraid that I'm going to fall since I'm pretty much blind of where im going. Do you just get really comfortable and practice going switch/looking backwards a lot?
i just slowly ride switch, or if you're doing a really fast follow w/ a uwa or fisheye if you're close enough you can just point you camera in the general direction of your skier
