Vail is a positive and negative. They are doing so well and have so much business that they tend to put strain on the smaller near by resorts.

Sure, that's just how business works, but overcrowding, ability to hike up prices even more, and so forth occurs. Only reason Abasin is only part owned is because of the monopoly they would otherwise have over summit county.

I also know the employee experience is better for some other corporations and have heard some nasty things about the way things are run. But alternatively, I have some friends that do enjoy their jobs.

Actually here is an article that much more accurately explains how many ski resorts go about their snowmaking, including Vail.

From what I saw, the Jews(snowmen)are being held in captivity by the Nazis(Vail) and they murder them so the rest of the world can have fun on their communist mountain. Just one man's opinion.

Vail resorts has nothing to do with a basin. a basin is 100% owned by dundee resort development. they have an agreement with vail resort in which they allow epic, epic local and summit value pass holders to ski there for a certain % of those pass sales.
