Titles in premiere

when you guys are putting in your titles do you do it in after affects or premiere? and if you want to have a title fade in and fade out there is no presets like in FCP you have to create it yourself right? Ive been trying to look for a good tutorial and havent had any luck with people explaining stuff like that.

I do them in ae and then import them into premiere

If the footage needs to fade in over it or something I just do it in premiere with the normal opacity keyframes. I'm sure they have that for fcp too

this question is off of this topic BUT MY PREMIERE AND AFTER AFFECTS WONT OPEN, IM ON A MAC AND WHEN I TRY TO OPEN THEM THEY LOAD ABOUT HALFWAY AND THEN I GET THE SPINNY BEACH BALL. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, I DONT WANT TO REINSTALL THE PROGRAMS AGAIN AND IF THERE IS ANYWAY AROUND IT ID LOVE TO HEAR IT
