Replying to Ski advice

So I recently had a heel piece rip of of my skis ( surface no times ) and was offered a 60% discount on a warranty claim from that and a previous pair of no times that I had snapped. I don't really want another pair of surface because they will just break, so I asked my brother if he could get me any deals on skis because he works at a local shop. He said he could get me 60% off head skis (the oblivion) , But I really don't know weather to get those seeing as I don't know much about the ski besides what it says on heads website, or to buy a pair of Lines which I have never had trouble with. Are heads good, durable and light, and would you recommend them or should I spend more money on Lines, I just cant decide.
