NS, Help!

I washed some stuff in my washing machine. My roommate has been messing around with the pipes recently because there was a leak near the sink, and he went away yesterday. He didn't say not to use the washing machine, usually he would mention something like this.

Anyway, a few minutes ago I walked to the room where the washing machine is, and the whole wooden floor was soaked in water. I have been trying to mop it all up with towels but it's fucking everywhere.

I need your help though! The machine is still full of water, I have no idea how to get it out. I have no pipes to siphon it away. What can I do NS?

See if you can get your hands on a wet vac so you can clean up the floor. Then try and find where it leaked from. This same thing happened to my mom's old washing machine. There was no leak in the pipes so we figured the machine broke and put too much water in then it splashed over the drum on the inside. We just put it on the spin cycle and let the machine spin the water out. If you have leak you may have to get a small bucket and scoop the water out, it will take a while but it will work. Also, if you have a landlord call him and tell him, he more than likely has a guy who can take care of the problem.

Call a plumber?! Usually there is something like an emergency plumber in every bigger city and they should be able to help you.
1.Call someone to help you!
2.Grab a bucket and some towels and try to get as much water outta there as possible. (water and electrcity dont mix too well)
3.If you can switch the washing machine off or flip off the cutout that would be good.

there is water in the machine itself. he doesn't need a plumber for that. he needs a quick solution. fuck.

anyways, bucket is your best hope. bail that bitch out
