Twin tips that carve like supershapes

Everyone talks about how well the tom wallich jib promodle "carved". When in reality, as soon as your put the ski on edge you are unpleasantly suprised with a awful lot of nothing. As for the best carveing skis I have skiied and now own are the head supershape seires, when you lay then on edge your just grip drop you hip to the snow grip ,and are thrown into the next turn. I want to find a park ski that i can auccttly lay down some nice arcs on. I know nothing will compare but something at least in the ball park.

I think a stiffer ski like a pipe ski would help with carving.

Make sure your edges are super sharp if you want to carve hard.

but Ive found anything will carve decent if you keep the edges sharp and mount them at recommended instead of dead center

RMU Diam. skis like a slalom ski when I want it to, and I hip out(skipping boot out) on a daily basis...you can definitely lay them babies over

Armada Triumph for sure, has a layer of titanium and will give the supershapes some competition.

What are you trying to do with your twin tip? If you want a ski that butters well, has a jibby feel too it then those are attributes not found in a high end carving ski. Head Supershape = traditional full length camber + narrow waist + woodcore + titanium + tight turning radius. If you just want a twin tip that feels like that, then those are the attributes you will need to look for. But, those attributes will also make park skiing more difficult.

the Kastle Colby carves very well considering it is a symmetrical park ski. held an edge at high speeds and was a lot of fun and i never felt like i was overpowering it by laying into turns

i have some old fischer habits from like 08, the red ones, and they carve very well for a center mount, twin tip especially with some fresh edges

Best skis on earth if I do recall correctly
Unlike other skis, your heart dynamically connects to the ski itself in order to assist in extra carving motions

dude im glad someone else loves the supershapes i have the imagnum from two seasons ago, what a ski? i have my halos and my bents, but when i am skking with the family i love nothing more than my supershapes and ripping turns they are just so good! as for a park ski which could do the same i would like to know!!!

any stiff park ski thats not rockered, mounted a little back of centre, and sharp.

The problem with that is it would suck dick at rails. So I guess you ll have to decide what is important for you and make some sacrifices. Also, dont expect them to compare to a true racing ski , thats just not fair.

Moment teams are pretty great for carving, keep your edges sharp and just about any ski will work. The stiffer the better

The Amplid c7 looks like the most legit one so far.
Ive skiied the kolbys and they caver pretty well, they arent a very damp ski thats forsure,
The new line chronics are close to.

Okay, either you are not able to make a turn, or you actually cant turn because of the ski. I was a racer for quite a while and i have AR7s now. I can turn them beautifully and still shred rails, jumps, jibbin. So maybe you need to learn how to turn? or try a different ski...

Rossi storms are really nice, I have them and I love'em. Check companies that make good race skis like Rossi, Dynastar, Nordica, Volkl, Head, and Atomic

Stockli Rotor 84.  21m turn radius, symmetrical sidecut, 2 sheets of titinal.  It's a skier's park ski for sure.

My Armada Pipe Cleaners can really lay down some turns. I've never skied them, but I've heard the Coreupt The Caspers were pretty dang good. Like others said, sharp edges really do help A LOT. Stiffer skis do as well.

i ski 184 praxis piste jibs for park. Things are like fuckin gs skis, i have them all the way detuned and they still have soo much edge hold. Really straight ski too, 25m radius @ 184

damn fool ski schoolers have the same mindset as racers..being one does not mean you're a better skier than someone with no formal training, it doesn't even mean you're good at skiing. You just can't use the, "I'm an Instructor, so of course I know how to ski", without sounding arrogant..not questioning your skiing ability, just making an observation.

Except that the Triumph is not a park ski so he might as well keep his supershapes...

The Ace of Spades is hands down the highest performing park ski I have ever skied, and its symmetrical which blew my mind. Haven't skied the new ones with carbon but I'm sure they are even better.

What do you mean. some dudes trying to bash me saying i cant ski, soo clearly im going to let him no that i can. Im not saying im better at skiing then anyone nor am i here to argue. its about the skis

Everyones dropping some good idea here, i like hearing who owns what and how its working for them on the hard pack.
I own a pair of coreupts and their dope, super rockerd and playful tho, shitty how they went out of bunsess it was a dope shape.

I have noridca dead moneys which carve like a dream. It helps to sharpen your edges every so often, especially if you are grinding them down on metal.
