Replying to LF advice on cheap Ski's

So I want to start to get into skiing. Iv'e been snowboarding for 8 years and I absolutely love it but I want to try skiing too. I've tried my buddies ski's several times now and I love it! I want to start looking into getting a pair of decent twin tip ski's but I don't/can't want to spend a lot of money on them. I'm not sure if i'll buy some right now but what would you guys think? Like brand, height, price...etc. i'm 6ft 170lbs also. Let me know what you guys think!
