how do you get a crack and apply it

i just downloaded rogue spear, but it says i need a cd to run it, i heard you can get something off gamecopyworld.com that makes a crack for it, i tried but i have no idea what i am doing, if someone could explain how to do this in a way that someone without to much computer knowledge could understand that would be so cool

Here's an easy way to bypass that: go to a store and buy the game.

Powder99, download the crack, then it probably comes in a ZIP file. Unzip the file and then copy all of the files that were unzipped into the folder that the game is located. Doulble click the the crack and a screen should come up saying it was successful.

well that depends on the type of crack it is. sometimes its a file overwrite crack, where they give you an exe and it overwrites the normal exe, and sometimes its a patch, which modifies your exe when you run it. just dl the crack and read hte readme, they all have instructions, and if it doesnt get it the fuck off your pc and dont run nothin.

go to http://megagames.com/gcracks.html it beat game copy world any day.. and most of them are patches, so you download them put them in C:\Programfiles\rougespere or whatever it is and go apply patch.

unzip the crack file and look for a file with a .nfo extension which means 'information' in short.
crackers use the nfo extension to place instructions and the team who made the crack.
just open the nfo extension files with your notepad or wordpad.
megagames.com is a good site along with gamecopyworld.com
