HELP!!!Marker griffon rear binding piece exploded when disassmbled

i need some help guys went to swap my binding on my recoils to my afterbangs, the spring system exploded now i cant get it back togethor. any help would be greatly appreciated, i cant ski till i get it fixed. i can send pics if that will help

I would recommend getting a new binding, even if you can get it together, I personally wouldn't trust a binding that exploded to keep me on my skis.

How would the spring explode? If it's the plastic that shattered you could get it warrantied(assuming the cause of the break wasn't a huge amount of force from you) otherwise I'm confused.

I've been installing/removing/swapping bindings for about 15 years, and i've never seen one "explode".  How much did you take these apart?

exploded isnt the right word now that im thinking of it, the screw on the back right below the heal that adjusts the position of the binding is held in with the pressure of a spring i accidently relieve to much pressure on the spring allowing it to shoot out of it housing and fling across my room im going to try and post some pics

wtf? how would someone screw a spring? i contacted my local ski shop they suggested i search for a spring compression kit, although i have no idea what that looks like or where to buy one. and by spring im not talking some lil flimsy coil im talking a spring with a compression threshhold of well over 200 lbs
