It's allll over the news right now. I thinks it's kind of bs that he can just say fuck you to everyone and do what he wants. News anchors are comparing it to Cuba or other dictatorships. Do you agree with his choice to bypass congress?

That's all I'm talking about if you want to talk about all guns and my views on them, That's an argument I'm sick of having and not going into. Also you put words into my mouth by saying i want to ban assault weapons. I've come to the conclusion that you can't read. And again fucking listen That was my view on assault weapon You keep changing this argument in to all guns and all violent crime. And yes mass shootings represent a small amount of crime What you're saying is we should do nothing about it because it's a small portion.

Anything else you'd like to make up. We also already had this bat and knife argument. But you're taking it out of context I said in many situations it is more dangerous to pull out a gun and fireback, I also then stated I would not use a bat or knife to fight off a gunman I was talking about being robed with out a gun. The most amazing part is I've explained this to you four times and you still bring it up in every thread we have. Anyway back to your post then i proceeded to show you a study that states in the home where a firearm is kept You are 28.5 times more likely to be shot. While being robbed as opposed to a house where a firearm is not kept. You made up everything else I said in that post. Feel free to find my comment where I said No one should ever use a gun For self-defense ever, because thats never been my view, And you're making shit I said up. Because you don't have any real arguments without your "what if they rape your children" scenario. Show me when I said that and I'll apologize.

The study makes sense, an escalation of force resulting in injury or death to one of the participants. I'd love to see how many of the 667 were victims vs an aggressor. You know? Like how often was it the person who tried to rob them that was shot, vs the person who was being robbed because they're both carrying a gun and pegged as gun-carriers according to the study.



Interesting none the less, the quotes are important, and only one of them is a quote. The last bit about freedom was a Ronald Reagan quote. It shows the understanding by US presidents preceding the current one, that governmental action quickly turns to tyranny if left unchecked. That's all

Because im just using this thread to talk about guns heres som interesting stuff.

I bought my AK brand new for $430 in the summer and now its sold out at the price of $630.

I bought two 1000 round cases of 7.62 ammo in the summer/fall for $250/case. The same cases are now $325 and sold out.

I was able to buy 40 round steel mags for $8 a piece. Now those mags are $20 and sold out. All AK mags doubled in price at least in the last weeks.

I cant imagine the jump in prices for AR15 stuff because thats the much more popular platform even though its a jam factory.

A man depriving me of my family, is a deprivation of my right to life. They are that important to me. I love those around me, that are related to me..so incredibly that I would die for them without hesitation. If a man said, either you or your Mom dies of cancer, I'd volunteer without fanfare or hesitation.


That's just me though, everyone can interpret it on their own. To each their own man, we'll obviously never agree.

Just throwing this in here: Canada has nearly the same gun per-capita as America, yet the murder rate is drastically lower. It really has nothing to do with guns, the problem lies in the troubles souls that are using them to kill people! America has a social crisis.

again, why is the constitution automatically correct?

and i have no problem with defending your life/family if you are actually threatened. but there's a big difference between that and thinking "oh, someone's in my house who i don't know, better go blow their head off" before you know why they are there. if someone comes to rob your house with no intention of hurting you or your family i don't think it's okay to kill them, even if it is technically self-defense. not saying you do, by the way.

yes. i have heard of morals. that is what i am basing my opinion on instead of what the bible/consitution/dec. of independence/bill of rights tells me. does it seem morally right to kill someone for trying to steal your tv? i don't think so. it assumes that your material possessions are as valuable as a human life, and that just seems fundamentally incorrect to me. and, yeah, i guess you're right, i would think the person who doesn't kill someone to stop them from stealing their material possessions is morally better than the person who does. still not sure what that has to do with my ego?

i have no problem with someone defending themselves/their family if their lives are actually being threatened, but, again, that is completely different than your first reaction being to kill anyone who enters your home unannounced without knowing what their motive is.

no, you don't let the thief do whatever he or she wants. you get your gun and say "leave or i'll shoot you" and call the cops. if they don't leave, then you shoot, but not to kill.

course it's okay to hit him with a hammer or whatever else as long as you don't kill him. you can turn him over to the cops, but not kill him

so you're starting to get it. how do you know the motives of someone who just criminally broke into your home? you have to assume the worst, since this person is obviously not there to give you a high five. but i'm curious then, if a person did break into your home "unannounced and without you knowing their motives", would you defend it and your family, or would you let that person just have the run of the house?

you don't, of course. but, when you find them in your home, and they aren't armed, why do you have to shoot them right away? if they aren't armed they can't hurt you if you have a weapon. if they are armed you can always shoot to disable but not kill, right? shoot them in the arm(s) so they can't shoot you back, but you don't need to go straight for the head.
