First drop negativity

Recently I've been read a lot of negative things about first drop on NS. I'm not quite sure why. Thoughts?

bad designs in the past
people don't like david lesh
their stuff used to be poor quality, and people form longterm opinions often from first impressions
their NS ads are offensive to some people who use NS in public places

People like to hate on Lesh. I love first drops stuff. I think their new jacket and pants this year are really comfy, warm, and great quality. its an easy company to hate on because their advertising is so outrageous, but the actual clothing i love.

I can understand some of the hate from past years, but i bought their V4 pants this year and they are really nice, baggy, swaggy, warm, and the bib is ballin'

Lesh is cool as fuck, and pretty laid back, i think some people are just jealous of him

i personally can't support a brand that doesn't have some level of professionalism and a respectable name. not because i want to be cool, i just want to see companies that i can have full support of thrive and i want my money going towards people who are going to put it back into the industry and continue to make quality products. first drop acts like a bunch of immature wannabe thugs so i can't validate giving them my money. i'm weird i know but i like to think i'm playing a small part in helping out the companies i support

I like their ads, need free posters or something.  Their outer wear is 20k, and not a horrible price for quality.  color schemes are pretty diverse. id wait more to see if they can compete with high quality outerwear before buying their stuff.

that being said, I haven't owned anything of theirs except a FD hoody that got stolen...but, I actually haven't heard anything negative about the quality of their outerwear from anybody that I know....only on NS, its odd.

sure the owner is a dousche bag but that has nothing to do with the outerwear itself. i bought an fd coat for the first time this year and it's easily my favorite coat

I was on the "FD is shit" bandwagon up until i got the NSxFD collab for xmas, its super warm and thick. Unfortunatley the one I got was too big, but a guy Named nick over at FD gave my mom a pretty good deal on a blue one in XXL because they didnt have any black ones left in stock.

People need to realize Lesh isnt 100% what the company is about Nick seemed like a good guy that cares about his company and is good with customers support. props to ya FD!

^ The guys name is Nick Knauff or somthign like that ive texted him a few times and he's the guy who basically runs the compnay and he helped me out my telling me if i wanted a deal we have older wear i can sell

By professionalism you mean videos people can't stop talking about... FD as a company is very good. They continue to improve their products based on customer feedback. As far as giving money back to the industry - Off hand, Sponsored Poor Boyz "We" premieres, M-Snow contest, Hosted Colorado Pro-Sale and now the Baller Contest...

Personally, I just think their stuff looks bad and the fit is weird. I don't have anything against their quality or the people behind the company, but I probably will not buy anything from them, from what I've seen over the past 3 years.

what video's do you mean? first drop pretty much lacks any sort of a respectable team besides a few. IF anybody claims that FD makes great quality jackets than they simply haven't owned an actually nice jacket.

^ FD is half the price of Saga with twice the customer service. People seem to forget what shit Saga

very true, but saga and bloom are actually quality. and the matching suits are less obnoxious. i still don't like when people match their suits, but atleast saga and bloom have good looking designs. first drop is literally a rainbow...like why would you find those colors appealing.

Your dumb. The UPS system creates a tracking number when the label is printed. My tracking number never changed from the minute I got it until the package arrived at my door. BEFORE the season even started.

typically here is the problem with First Drop, although they do represent the "thug" or "park rat" image people don't want to buy it for a few reasons:

"it looks cheesy"

"they are way baggy fitting to the point where its bad"

"The quality is not the same as other products on the market that go for same price or just a little more (i.e Saga)"

"I don't like the styles/ color cutaways"

If first drop did one of the following I think they would sell more

1} Either drop the price and keep making the same product or

2) Keep the price the same/ go up just a little and make the product a better quality and take off some of the cheesy features such as the way the cuts are on the material, or the 200 zippers.
