I have a couple pairs of old skis with Salmon C607 bindings on them. Would I have to install new bindings if I wanted to put a pair of Salomon Z10's on one pair? or could I unscrew toe + heel pieces and screw back in (following re-mount steps like glue in the holes again). Just a quick question, and if you could refrain from telling me to take them to a professional, I have been trained and feel confident in my ability to mount my own bindings. Just wanna know if the Z10'S will have the same mounting pattern because I have never mounted anything Salomon for years.
I'm pretty sure they share the same mounting pattern in the toe, but the heel may have a fifth screw. I know some of the lower DIN STH heels have a fifth hole(like the 916), but I don't know if the Z series shares that hole pattern.
Why not just take them off and take a look? Place the new bindings above the old holes and see if they fit?
