Salomon Spk Pro Shell

I have the Salomon SPKs that have the weird like leather covering Over the shell, is there anyway to remove that without effecting the boot itself? +k for helpful answers

Just not a big fan of the look. I saw someone who did it to his spks and they looked pretty sick because underneath the fake leather is just a matte black shell and then obviously the yellow toe piece. Fyi this is the model im talking about... Click for larger image
