So I finally decided on the little brother of te volkl walls, the ledges. They have them in size 148 and 155. I'm having a Dillema because I am a 3+ skier, but I'm pretty light for my height. I'm 5'3 and 120 pounds. Should I go a little shorter or a little longer? They're rocker-camber-rocker and I'm used to skiing shorter skis.
Go with at least the 163. I would even recommend the 171 because of you being an aggressive skier and the rocker on them. I am only slightly taller than you and I weigh less than you but I ride 177s in pow and would ride at least ~166ish in the park.
Not really. I am a really small guy (5'5, 110 lbs) and I appreciate the extra stability from a longer ski. If she really is a 3+ skier, then she should handle them fine, especially with the rocker making them ski shorter.
They may be a bit unusual at first, but she would get used to them just fine.
I'm 5'2 130lbs I ride 169 Hellbents as my pow ski (measures more like 173) 160ishcm in length feels about right to me in the park. I tried riding some 150cm skis and they felt waaay too short. I can even get my hellbent's to do park if I feel like working hard and have successfully ridden 180cm rocker skis without any trouble. If you really are riding as hard as you say I would aim for the larger skis.
