actually, i forgot. Schuss mtn is working on a big air jump right now. my buddy is high up on the park crew and he says its supposed to be around 50 feet. poppy to. not sure when it will be ready though.
message will johnston on facebook if you want to know.
just started riding again this year, PK is set nice super nice, boyne blows as usual, headn to shanty creek to race snocross this weekend, all let ya know how the park is.
Tested the big air jump last sunday. Really was one of the best jumps I have hit in Michigan..... It was 35 and 50ft. Both take offs were smooth, Alot of tricks got thrown on the small side by the small crew I was riding with. I was the only one to hit the 50. but now its been warm for three days here with rain last night, then going to re freeze sunday. With the rain the jumps are bound to be flatter now, but didnt look to bad as of last night. As for park we have the grom park with 4 small features(box, flat bar, pvc pipe, and small A frame rail). the temporary park has a urban down, small canon flat rail, c box, propane tank, 30ft battleship box, and a TINY jump at the bottom. We have guns in all the parks and as soon as it re freezes sunday, Schuss will be up and running blowing in all the parks including the big air jump. We are def going to have some re building to do next week after this rain!!! Hopefully we have a full Monster energy park in the next couple weeks. probably shoulda been this week, but alas we live in Michigan! PRAY FOR COLD!!!!
Here is the edit that we filmed weekend before last when I was wondering about jumps. Had bad weather at Shanty, but other than that it wasn't all bad (just warm). Biggest jump we found was at Timber Ridge. Good times!
