ok...  long story short, 4chan came up with a fake troll post of kids cutting themselves because Justin Bieber smokes weed, and pretended it came from 9gag.  The world of course latched on thinking it was real because everyone hates JBiebs, and hilarity ensued.

Hey man. I like to get high just as much as the next guy(quite a bit) but dont be that dude who's all "duuuude, you gotta watch The Union its so great and so true". I did like that movie a lot, and it was very interesting. But its just like a movie made about the danger of pot, both sides in the situation of pot legalization are doing whatever they need to make sure they are the ones who come out on top. Welcome to Politics. You can enjoy the documentary all you want, because it was in fact very well made, but dont use it as the holy fucking bible of smoking. You feel me?

I just got in an argument with my sister who says 9gag (4chan) killed those two girls who bled out due to #cut4beiber.
does anyone else agree with me that neither beibers pot smoking nor 4chans trollery was the cause of death here? Those fucking moronic girls cut themselves and bled out.
Hopefully parents will realize that their 12 year olds shouldnt be sitting in front of a computer all day doing god knows what.

you realize when you inhale weed smoke you are inhaling plant matter that negatively effects your lungs. regardless if there are no cancer causing chemicals ect. you are still inhaling plant matter your lungs were not designed to respirate.
think about when your bong gets dirty and resin stains the inside of the glass. that resin build up doesnt miraculously stop at your lips. that shit is building up down your esophagus and into your lungs.

#CuttingForBieber (Also known as #Cut4Bieber) is an online campaign launched by members of 4chan to create fake Twitter accounts with photos of people cutting themselves with the hashtag #CuttingForBieber in response to allegations of Justin Bieber smoking marijuana.

Origin

On January 4th, 2013, TMZ posted images showing Justin Bieber possibly smoking marijuana at a party in a Newport Beach hotel.[1] On January 7th, 2013, a thread was posted to 4chan’s /b/ (random) board telling users to create a Twitter account and post images of cut wrists in response to Justin Bieber being revealed to have smoked marijuana (shown below)[2]. The thread got large amounts of positive feedback and soon other threads conveying a similar message appeared.
