Being born in Bama, I still have strong ties to my home, even though I live in Seattle now. Its been great watching the football program continue the legacy over the years, hopefully they crush those damn Irish, roll tide roll.
1.He doesn't have to touch him, he was w/in 1 yard of him
2. It doesn't matter when you call it
3. They know a hell of a lot more than you
4. I think the guy in charge of all the refs know more that announcers
7. His own teammate forced the fumble/hit him.
41. Sure it matters when you call it
15. Replacement refs?
2. Everybody makes mistakes, did you watch the cotton bowl?
33. I don't even follow football
He was almost exactly a yard away when the returner first touched the ball. Bama obviously doesnt need any help in this game. That being said it probably wouldnt have effected the game that much, Notre Dame is still gonna get squashed
So what you're saying is that the defender can't be within one yard of the returner but the returner can call a fair catch after the defender has become within one yard of him?
ok sorry, 2 yards. And there was no possible way he could've moved out of his way (1 yard away). And if the rule really is what you say, it's effing retarded. Kinda like these refs.
And let me reiterate, I'm not rooting for either one of these teams. I'm just watching it to watch what was supposed to be a good old fashion game of foosball
And to anyone blaming the refs. ND simply is getting outplayed. Its not even that ND is a bad team, but Nick Saban creates essentially NFL caliber teams. No one is beating this team, not tOSU not even a rematch against the Aggies. No one.
this shit really pisses me off. people who like auburn and shit rooting for alabama to feel better about their shit season. how are you going to root for your rival like wtf??? thats like michigan fans rooting for ohio state or red sox fans rooting for the yankees because they are in the same division. absolutely absurd
Not really. My team is my dad's Georgia Bulldogs. Think I'm going to root against the team that beat them into the BCS title? No I hope the guys who beat my team go all the way. Still sucks to not win it yourself, but my decision matrix is simple.
I love fans who act like the entire SEC is so much better than every other conference in football. Bama, Georgia, A&M, and sort of Florida but not really, were all great this year. The rest of the conference ranges from mediocre to downright awful.
Playoffs also have their flaws, but yeah hopefully it will be a little better than the current system. Im not sure there really is a perfect college system.
SEC fans have selective amnesia. We will continue to hear how the SEC is the greatest just because of Bamas win, regardless of the beatdowns teams like Florida recieved.
