Ok, so my sunprotection or something like that (think it is what i can call the color on the glass) is starting to fell off. There are some spots on the glass where i think it have fell of, it irritate my view and i really need help with getting the rest of it of, or some magical trick who can help me. Giving +k for helpfull tips!
Eh, I dunno, I haven't had a problem like that before, if you have another pair and they weren't expensive, then maybe try it, but it doesn't sound like something I would do.
the mirrored part of your lens is chipping right? the shiny part. If this is the case, and you havent had your goggles for too long, then return them, get them warranteed (if possible) or get a different brand of goggle. Electric I have heard has this problem if ice gets on mirrored lenses.
Had them for about a year. Yes i think it is the lens, i had them in my pocket for a couple of rounds so i don't think it is icing. I think the lens have scraped against my pocket, and it is dragon googles. +k
You said this happened after you carried them in your pocket for a while?
I've seen similar results after touching my lenses with greasy(french fry) fingers. A quick polish with a clean goggle wipe fixed me up.
Or, I'm going to guess that something in your pocket scratched them. Possibly them pocket material itself. Another reason to always carry a goggle bag in your pocket.
Same exact thing happened to me. I had already decided to buy a new pair of goggles, so I started screwing around with the goggles, and I took out the inner lense (I guess there are two parts to it) and all the "fog" or whatever it is is gone now. I'm not sure if it is okay to do this but so far it looks like it will work.
