Sort of this, but I find that it more often it refers to guys everyone secretly (sometimes not so secretly) suspect as homosexuals because of dainty mannerisms, obsession with fashion and other stereotypically gay things.
Basically you're calling someone a closet gay without actually saying it by calling them a metrosexual, which I find to be a copout and therefore I never use it.
basically what everyone else has said. when i think of metrosexuals, i think of men who participate in things that are stereotypically feminine:
-shopping, manis, pedis, their hair, body hair, grooming, staying clean, pampering themselves.
as opposed to what is stereotypically male:
-getting dirty, not caring about looks, having unkempt finger nails, manual labor
I disagree. That is called going overboard on grooming and is often done in one's akward teen years anyways.
The term metrosexual itself has inherent sexual undertones, therefore imo it refers to someone's percieved sexuality as a byproduct of their dress and mannerisms.
But I could be wrong I guess.
Yeah, see that was written by a whiny, butthurt metrosexual. You can TOTALLY tell by the pissy defensiveness and comments about sexual prowess.
James Bond is not metro at all lol... Motherfucker, of course you identify yourself with James Bond because the guy can dress lololololol... What a douche.
