This is my first time here ive only just found the forum bit it seems like the place i need to be so Hey.
Im looking for some help regarding a couple of things as im not quite sure what i should do. Im an intermediate to advance skier but ive only ever skied "On Piste" using the Nordica Spitfire Pro's. Im not looking to get into freestyle skiing but im not sure what gear im going to need.
I have looked at getting a pair of twin tips but it all kinda goes over my head and im not sure what to get anymore. I have been recommended both the "K2 Press" and the "Rossignol Scratch". Although there are alot more out there, What twin tips would you recommend for a beginner wanting to start in freestyle??? (Ideally a pair of skis i wont need to replace once i start to get down my first tricks for a more a danced pair but some that are also easy to learn on).
Onto the second question. Being from the UK i dont have any local mountains i can go and throw down on for practice. Does anyone know of any camps or places in the UK you can go learn and practice???? (Im from Merseyside Aka Liverpool - Local slope would be chill factor.)
And finally were did you guys find your ski buddies. Ive normally gone with my parents until not but since they have stopped going im finding myself for the first year having to look at a solo holiday and fortunately none of my friends ski and are not interested in learning. At 23 this kinda sucks so i need to try and find myself a group of guys / girls with the same interests in freestyle skiing to possibly fly out with each year.
Cheers in advance (Sorry for the wall of text)
