he's a douchebag..I respect his tremendous talent though

I hate his garbage theatrics and all that dancing shit, I was listening to a bernard pollard interview earlier this season and he basically said that ray only does that shit when the cameras are on him, it's pretty much just for show like he's some sort of circus clown

anyone catch his post game? 'I just want to thank almighty god for putting me on this field, even with my injury I knew god had a plan for me blah blah blah'

yeah, ok ray, im sure it was god that helped you miraculously recover from your injury and not the hgh you sprinkled over your cereal every morning...gimme a break

i am from baltimore and have grown up with ray lewis and i got to go to the game today and be about 50 feet from him coming out onto the field it is something i will never forget he really is the man everything he has done for baltimore has been great. i shed some tears with him leaving i will miss him no one will ever play with the intensity and motivation he has. lets go RAY LEWIS and kid who is going to the game its gonna be a good one i want the broncos to win the super bowl if the Ravens don't but man you have to let ray lewis win this he deserves it so much!

Excuse me but the fact is Lewis had a team high wil 13 tackles against the colts, Not only does he completely play his part as a fantastic middle linebacker for the ravens but he pumps up the morale in the whole team, which even the players agree helps quite a bit. Hes a great player a will go down in history as one of the best linebackers ever. Please have your facts straight before making very very false statements.

Many of his teammates don't even take him seriously. Bernard Pollard had an interview were he made fun of ray's dancing and theatrics saying he only does it when people are watching and the cameras are on

IF you need some grown ass man to do some stupid fucking dance when he comes out of the tunnel before every game just to get you jacked up for a sports game in which you get paid millions of dollars to play you're fucking retarded

While I agree Lewis is one of the best linebackers ever, he has been awful this year. If you look at any stats other than tackles (which a MLB should have the most) or actually watch him it couldn't be more obvious.

dude you can't bash ray ray's dance. he's just unleashing the beast within. it's his werewolf transformation, every time he hits the field.

shit's iconic. everyone needs to have some sort of gimmick. it's all part of the fun! that's why the WWE is so fucking entertaining. it's all fake and ridiculous, but i just loved watching THE PEOPLES ELBOW.

I remember watching MNF around 10 years ago, him and Ed Reed were incredible - a legendary defense.

and this thread deserves an upvote.

and all i have to say is that his pump up at the stadium is like nothing else. unless you have been at a game in the stands when he makes his entrance you have know idea how energizing is. when he does it you can feel the stoke going through you and everybody around you like electricity and it just cant be given justice through words...no matter how bad at dancing he is haha

and that vid of ochocinco is hilarious, ive never seen it

Ray and 2 friends were involved in a fight which resulted in the stabbing and killing of 2 people. Witnesses reported him dumping bloody clothes into a dumpster later that night. The court asked for the clothes he was wearing, he didn't comply, and they have never been found. His attorney arranged for his murder charges to be dropped if he testified against his friends, which he did.

Best case scenario, he witnessed 2 people murdered without doing anything to help them. And then ratted out his buddies in order to avoid jail time.

Totally respectable guy. OJ was innocent too, right?

I dont think I'll ever forget the entrance to superbowl 36...belichick demanded to be introduced as a team but the NFL said he had to introdue either the offense or defense, belichick told the NFL to go fuck themselves and he wanted the whole team introduced as one. It's now done in every superbowl.

i wish i knew how to quote two things, but ill just have to repeat exactly what i said earlier: you CANNOT imagine what it is like unless you have been there for it (TV doesn't count champ) you will never know now that he's done home games forever, and i agree dancing isn't his forte but that does not detract from the experience.
