They haven't been indemnified for years. I could only find lists back as far as 2005 and they weren't on there even.
Which may affect which shops will work on them... some might point-blank refuse, others will probably get you to sign a pretty gnarly waiver.
Axial2?
Commence epic disclaimer, doing this will cause your skis to catch fire and burn your legs off. Also you will crash into a tree and be horribly disfigured and have to piss in a bag for the rest of your life.
Yeah, can't see why not - the heel part is virtually identical to the modern ones, and the Axial2/Look PX toe is exactly the same as the one on the Pivot 14. A PX12 or PX14 toe would probably match them nicely.
Given their age though, I'd really want to get the release force checked out... I would say at this point the DIN indicator would be wet-finger-in-the-air at best.
