I mounted my brothers skis with my moms old bindings cause he didn't want to have to pay for new bindings.
However, are some bindings male/female specific. They came from a ladies ski and they are salomon bindings. He is supposed to be at around 6-6.5 din, but someone told me on the mountain yesterday it should be a 9 din because the ladies bindings will be approximately 3 din levels lower than mens.?
It doesnt seem to make sense, I thought DIN was DIN, regardless of bindings, brand, male or female. Its a "universal" standard of tension correct?
