Fix built in flash?

Long story short, face + T2i = broken flash, chipped teeth and a concussion. Can I get it fixed at a shop? I realize I could just buy a hotshoe mount, but I want my camera to be fully functional.

on camera flashes are ugly. i wouldn't bother.

really depends how you broke it, but it is prbly going to cost more than it is worth to fix. Consider it an opportunity to get an off camera flash

well how bad did you break it? pictures would help, and I have no idea actually, but if you really fucked it up, you will likely need to replace more than just the flash either from damage or as part of the repair.

yeah i saw that, but you really shouldn't be using the built in flash at all so it isnt taking much away in terms of functionality.

Yea, the built in flash is legitimately terrible. I wouldn't ever suggest fixing it, it's not worth your money man. I understand that you want your gear to work right, but in this case, I would just consider it a battle scar and move on.
