some thoughts:
the date today is Novemeber 4th, 2004, not Sept. 11th, 2001, get the fuck over it.
the stock market is not 'higher than it's ever been' what the hell are you smoking? yeah it's up today, but no matter who comes into office... i think most people know that once all our parents start retiring.. well there could be some investment issues when people look at their 401ks and such and panic.
then theres my favorite... when the world burns to the ground choking on its own smog and polluted water.
i have no personal money because i was unemployed all summer. i spent a bout a month looking for work, as did a lot of my friends. the ones who got jobs had strings pulled... or started looking in MARCH....
and on another note, i fucking hate brash, boorish, loudmouthed assholes who constatnly 'misunderestimate' their own levels of stupidity.

the market would not have responded as favorably to a kerry win for a few reasons. first, the markets like stability. a change, regardless of political implications, represents stability. so that was good. second, one candidate was clearly more in favor of business in america in terms of tax rates and whatnot... it just so happenes that that is the candidate that won... hence, more confidence on wall street.

cuban businesses are owned 51% by the government, 49 % by the people. If it was liek russia (which was actually communist), then businesses would be 100% owned by the gov. Also, communism is the perfect form of governemnt, everyone needs to adopt it and human nature neds to be redifined, so it will never happen.

1. About the Stock market, It's Pretty Damn close to it's highest point, and thats not bad considering 9/11. Since 9/11/01 the economy's been in a recession, but is now clearly on the up-swing.
2. Democrats tax and use social Security, not Bush, so don't try and blame him or the republicans for that.
3. The reason why There are no U.S. companies manufacturing a FLU vaccine is becasue the cost of production is not worth the profit. why? because of the people who Sue for millions of dollars when their vaccine doesn't work, (Kinda like what Kerry does for a living)...

Actually, lawsuits make up a statistically negligible proportion of the costs involved in medicine production.
