What to do in St. Anton (Austria)

I'm going to St. Anton in a couple weeks with my GF and I want to ask the locals what would be the cool plan around there. I'm looking for advice on the good spots for good pow runs and also on things to do on the afternoon besides humping.

Any good advice will receive a generous amount of christmas karma.

If you want to find some untracked pow you can head to the lifts at Stuben and Sonnenkopf (sick treeruns). Lot less people and it's all included in the skipass. Sankt Anton has some nice terrain but get's tracked out pretty fast.

What I would give to go back. I skied there for one day and it was one of the best days of skiing I've ever had and I didn't know how to ski pow and was on crappy, narrow, old straight skis. I will go back. Sorry I have no advice to offer though.

Zurs and Lech have some pretty go terrain as well. As long as you use the skipass for what it was meant for, I guarantee that you'll be able to find whatever terrain you want reasonably quickly. It's an unreal area though, some of the best skiing I've ever done

Pretty much what everyone said already, although unfortunately the snow is pretty sheisse here atm, we badly need some fresh. Personally I prefer the Rendl side of St Anton for skiing, with fun runs through Hinter Rendl, also the Stanton park is up there.

Ski show is on a wednesday at 9.

Also apres ski in KKs on a thursday is a must. Mooserwirt is generally always busy, good spots to go out in are Postkeller, Bobo's, Bar Cuba, Scotty's and Kandahar (if you can speak Swedish)

If you're interested in doing anything besides skiing, there is a nice climbing wall in Arl Rock which is beside the train station. Gym, pool etc is available as well as an ice rink.
