Anyone know good priced Airbags?

I want to get into proper backcountry/medium mountain snowboarding, instead of the sidecountry I normally do. I feel airbags are waaaay to expensive but does anyone know prices of airbags below 300 or 400?

your life is worth the $600+ (at least I assume it is)

the bca float 16 is probably your cheapest option, but even then its about $650

Thanks man, but I'm just thinking I live in stable conditions when it is powder, so I don't want to pay so much you know?

To be honest, if you're getting seriously in to BC skiing. The only sane thing to do is drop the couple thousand bucks that it takes to have the absolute best gear available. You can always make more money but you can't recover from being dead.

no hate but i'm thinking you didn't read the thread? It's not like one of those wouldn't be quite useful to have inflated when an avvy hits but they lack a degree of portability.

If you have any friends that work at shops, Mammut bags are very reasonably priced on proform.  Also, if you know anybody with a 3point5 account, BCA bags are pretty cheap as well.
