If the answers yes, then what are the rules on marketing could skiers/snowboarders (who im going to guess would be a niche group to market to) become sponsored by a particular herb shop? people like t-hall, cassabon those guys already market themselves as stoners/ drug users, so it wouldnt hurt their image.
here in Australia at least you cant have any advertising for tobacco we even have plain packaging laws, but sports teams can be sponsored by beer companies, not individuals at least as far as i know, so i doubt it would be allowed here, even if weed was legal.
should athletes be allowed to be sponsored by weed companies or any company they like for that matter?
