GO TO A BOOTFITTER. they might be worth buying if they fit your foot right but you never know. maybe a dalbello boot or salomon boot will fit you better
I guess its all about personal preference - cost, fit, and comfortability
But, all things considered, they are great quality boots, I am on my third pair...just because my feet have been growing. But, you should be able to get 300 days out of those shells
So many people post this same thread, and the answer is always go to a boot fitter. luckily for me, full tilts fit perfectly, but if they don't fit well then don't bother. Yes they do have amazing flex and all, but just because you don't ride full tilts doesn't mean your boots aren't as good. A properly fitting boot is better than a poorly fitting pair of full tilts any day..
Full Tilts are great when it comes to comfort for low volume feet. But they're notoriously soft. I just got the 13' first chair, which is FT stiffest boot, and its about as stiff as my ghost 120s with one bolt out (110 roughly). Also, the quality of the buckles and cable systems could be better.
I think they're worth the money solely because of balance of extreme comfort/warmth and high performance.
Best boot I've ever had, better than Salomon and Dalbello. There is no need to listen to the others, if you think you should go for it, it's your decision. Remember to atleast get them heatmolded. That is a necesity.
I have the dabello voodoos and they are great park boots and are mass comfortable. They are cheaper than the FT Booters and in my opinion just as good. It all depends on the width and size of you foot so I'd listen to everyone else and go to a boot fitter.
