Deciding between EDC or Coachella. I heard Coachella is a super fun scene and it's a whole lot more convenient than EDC. Supposedly you have to wait in traffic for like 2 hrs everyday on the way to EDC from the city and it's crazy. Also, Vegas is super expensive.

I went to EDC - New York last weekend, probably the best weekend I've ever had. So much fun.


tips:
- buy one of their metal refillable water bottles for $10, you can use it everyday you're there and it will save you money when you don't have to pay $4-5 for individual bottles time after time

- don't plan on using your phone while you're in there, with so many people in a fairly small space, your messages and calls most likely won't go through, at least not in any timely fashion. So don't lose the people you're with

- buy a few packs of individually packaged and wrapped chapstick and gum, they won't let you bring in opened stuff. and you'll need those two items

- try not to bring anything you don't need, it's a pain carrying a bag so just wear shorts with pockets and bring your ID, tickets, and cash

So bothered I can't make it again this year...went the first year it was in Vegas and it was unreal. Definitely starting a fund so I can make a week out of it and go next year.

it was so fucking rad. it was my first EDC and i was just blown away. the production is unreal - loved the look of basscon stage and circuit grounds especially. the artwork was all sick. i went sober the last day and still had a blast. also have to shoutout for logistics, everything works like clockwork and makes a comfortable experience for the festival goer, only fuck up i can think of is the will call on first night.

anyways, i would recommend to anyone. im pretty sure i will go back next year

oh and what were you doing specifically? the mainstage was so crazy it almost didnt feel real. and id also love to see some videos

thats awesome. i'm super stoked you had a good time. I as well had a great time, i was able to just enjoy the show half of the first night, and all of saturday night.. i dont remember the stage names as i just know them by numbers. haha.

but all of them were super sick.


as for what i did, i helped build all the scaffolding towers for main stage, and then i was part of the audio crew that flew all the speakers, and i built all the onstage monitor systems and what not.
