hey guys, im looking at getting some halos and i was wondering if anyone knows the weight of a pair, or can compare the weight halos to the weight of other skis.
They are much lighter and have lower swing weight than you would expect... They are pretty nuts but it is a pretty solid ski, and aren't quite as soft as they are said to be, they are just softish compared to some of the other armada skis.
Punxs and Halo's are so similar its hard to tell the difference in weight, like its there but not noticible by any means. Halo's are quite a bit stiffer than punx but due to the rocker, punx will carve a bit harder than Halo's just due to the full camber. Halos are super fun and a little stiffer with rocker and the punx are super fun and softer with camber.
The halo's are incredibly light and have a good swing weight. However, I wish I would have got FR's instead, easily the funnest park ski I've ever rode on, do want for my next pair
Are you gonna be doing lots of jumps? Less camber on the halos means you have to be more precise when popping. The amount of pop will also be less than the punx (previously compared in the thread).
Hey just thought I'd offer some insight. This season I got them and I got the 170 cm model. My previous skis were 150cm. Needless to say my halos felt much lighter in the air.
