the dude that penned my sig puts out a flyfishin quartely mag and there's a forum pretty similiar to tgr cept way harsher on noobs, but killer pics and trs from serious fly fishing addicts the fridays cheer thread is a good 500 pages of quality fly fish porn. Not a whole lot of active members so it can be fratish. Definately not the place to find super helpful people willing to offer advice and answer questions
Your local tu chapter is a great place to do that. Ours does intro classes, tying etc as well as trips. Stoked we're headed to the green this weekend

I'm generally stoked on anyone fishing
that fish hounds floated his share of rivers. I can't believe he's 7 1/2 seems like just a year ago or so I was questioning the wisdom of taking an 11 month old puppy down the middle fork of the salmon
but he rocked it. Was a cast and blast trip and he came back gun shy and a puss about thunder/fireworks
he's slowin down quite a bit. been sleepin in for dawn patrol, nappin a lot more , but he stillgets stoked to hear fish on and get his sniff on
