My whole life I have road all mountain skis, and never tried out park skis. I live in Michigan, and we have tiny ski hills here, so I'm in the park a lot. Yesterday, I clicked into my friends new 2012 AR7 with my boots to try them out. I ended up using them the entire day. I could instantly nose butter 3, and do 540's of tiny bumps. They were so light, and crazy flexible. I could jump over obstacles with ease. I thought "What have a been missing out on"? So, ladies and gentlemen, I need your help decided which park ski I should get. I'm 6 foot 3 145 lbs, and I am pretty good at park. The biggest jump I'll be hitting will be a 50 footer. Which ski should I get, AR7, Atomic Punx, or Line Afterbang. I like the punx the best, because they look cool, and Jossi Wells rides them (I skied with him an entire day, and he gave me a pair of Atomic Patents) so having the same skis as him would be cool. The AR7's are nice because my friend has last years, so I think I'll know what they are like. The Afterbangs are the cheapest, and pretty popular around where I ski, so I assume they are pretty solid.
+K for any answer explaining why I should get which ski. Also, any suggestions for cheap bindings (Under $150) would be great too. Thanks.
