just wondered does newschoolers have an introduce yourself section? just wanted to show my face, and let everyone know who i am

also im pretty knew to new school skiing, im a racer and want to find out if i should make the switch to become a freestyler, will my redster d2's be all right in the park for now, or should i go and buy some salomons right away?

there is no switch. It's not like you give up racing in return for freestyle. Many of us here do both :). In fact, I know a lot of here people who originally started out racing and gradually started getting into freestyle more.

As for your skis....I'm not a big hardware kind of guy, but if the bindings are not too back mounted you should be fine for the time being. Although having skis built for park doesn't hurt =p
