So a few weeks ago I sprained my ankle and I also got new boots... I just went skiing today and my left foot is tending to go pigeon toed on me. Do you guys think it's injury related or maybe a canting issue? I'm really not sure what would cause this. My boots have been fitted/molded/orthotics ect...
I wouldnt think that it is due to the boot. After any injury like that, it takes a while for those areas to return to their original range of motion. Just give it another week or two of skiing and it should feel natural again.
i would disagree and would think its more of a boot issue. A twisted ankle will not really affect you in a boot, as the boot holds the ankle and stops it being able to turn.
I would guess its a footbed/ shell shape issue. What footbeds did you get and what boot are they in?
