a really bad show about weirdos in california who supposedly make their living by buying old abandoned storage units, and reselling the contents. it spawned that whole "YEEEEEPPPPP" meme thing because some idiot on that show always says it.
that one dudes wife is hot though, so long as shes not talking

Absolutely hate this show. The fat bitch is super annoying and is always wrong. I have literally never seen her be right in that show once. All she does is whine about how she deserves to own the business even though she does nothing. /rant

The british one is the original one, and is in my opinion wayyy better than the american one. Its pure agony to watch David Brent and all the fucking awkwardness he creates by being the douchebag he is.. sweet, wonderful agony.

officespace is unrelated. but the American version of The Office is by far the best. the British one is lame.

but there are actually remakes of that show all over the world, pretty funny

Not fully sure but I think these homeless people break into storage cell thingys and they like sell everything for 10 times the regular price and then pawn stars is just these homeless people inside a random shop and then when people come in to sell them something really valuable they ask for 10 times the real price...

Has anyone else noticed that the movie industry is surviving off comic book movies?
Avengers, avengers 2, fantastic 4, iron man, superman, batman, spiderman, etc....
Terrible.
That and novels turned into movies, i.e. Anna Karenina, James Bond, The Hobbit, the Bourne series.

Does anyone write original screenplays anymore?

Pawn stars just makes me sad. People come in with some cool shit and some dumb redneck looks at for 2 seconds then says "I'll give you 5 bucks." Then the person trying to pawn it always says they were expecting more but the guys on the show are dicks. Its not like they need the money that bad

This. And you can't expect to make much money when you're going into a pawn shop. If you want what the retailers tell you something is worth, then sell it yourself. If not, sell it to the pawn shop for about 50-60% of that.They make money by buying dirt cheap. Its how pawn shops stay in business.
