I live in CT we got like a foot a couple of days another foot today. there is a small mountain on my property can i shred pow with thoes on the line cronic 2012/13.
you can "shred pow" on any type of ski. although some such as skis like the caylors, opus and such float better because of their large waists and all their rocker. any ski can go through pow but they will sink so to compensate for your little width of the ski you have to ski fast down the hill which increases your float and happieness. bassically skiing faster= good day on the slopes.
Oh wow, didn't notice the "can I. . ." but yeah, just charge, and maybe lean back a smidge. It won't really make a difference in a foot of wet(?) snow either way.
common misconception, leaning back does not help float all it will do is tire you legs out and make you miserable. keep a good stance and your feet close together in a tight stance.
