For long lift lines me and my brother play pictionary in the snow with our ski poles. Passes time really well since you're not really looking up and always trying to figure out what the horrible drawing in front of you is.
Also, ex gf stories are hilarious with strangers.

That is still super annoying and I don't think people should do that. It falls into the same category of spitting off the lift or throwing anything off, it just isn't cool.

Just play the game where you shoot gapers with your pole before they fall to get points.
