I just lost $40 on my first legit poker game. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but I'm poor as shit at the moment cause I just spent all my money on ski gear.
Anyone wanna share their worst gambling losses to possibly make me feel a bit better?
First time I ever played poker I won 400 (Just over 100) pesos at a hostel in bariloche from some aussies and another american. After that first time it's all gone down hill.
Duke game last night. That cocksucker fumbling when they were about to kick a FG with under a minute and win and the INT TD afterwards meant I lost 760 instead of winning 2300 between my spread bet, moneyline bet, and a parlay it fucked up. 3k swing. Cunts.
Missouri tonight was annoying too I had 2nd half +2.5 and they lost by 3 after being up 9 with 4 minutes left and not getting that flagrant foul call. But I only had 100 bucks on that shit.
This. you cant play needing to win money or scared to lose money. Unless its a tournament, or a high limit / no limit cash game, or youre just on fire, playing really conservatively seems to be the way to go - it has led to some really big nights for me
well someone stole my $100 crowbars last year. then this year i bought $20 spy soldiers that were scratched quite badly off of a friend and someone stole those yesterday at my mountain.
bahahaha serves you right for betting on duke football, i knew the spread and saw what happened and wished i knew someone that i could laugh at for betting on duke, but thats what you get
