Wooden Urban Down Rail

I've been wanting to hit a wooden down rail for a while. We have just been getting enough snow to hit it this season, so i was wondering if wood rails are a even worth trying or just too dangerous?

Take your edges completely out underfoot and you'll be fine

yes, i want to know how to get wooden rails to slide too.

Wooden rails are weird, it really depends on the rail whether or not you'll be able to slide it smoothly. Make sure your edges are dull, and that the wood is moist or waxed in some way. Also try to not be too far forward on your front foot, good lucky!

They seem gnar. TSP hit some and the riders took some pretty rough crashes by catching their edges. You would want to cover the rail with wax or ice and have dull edges.

are u at springs, we just got done seshing a wood down rail and it was dope, make sure u put date on it to let it freeze and you will be golden

wax it or ice it and probably will be fine as long as you dont have too sharp of edges

its not too bad as long as its cold/not raining, just trust your self :) just dont slide aluminum

i hate them, i hit one and it was sweet for a few hits, but any sort of gripping is really out of the question because your bound to catch.

Just make sure that you don't catch your edges, other than that they're pretty kosher

As others have said, make sure to dull your edges. Don't be leaning too far forward.
