Returning shoes

I'm going to return a pair of boots that I got for Christmas. I've worn them 4 times outside and they look perfect. The soles have a little bit of dust and some minuscule marks that I think I could get rid of. Do these companies really check that hard to make sure the boot is in absolute perfect condition in order to validate the return?

is it going to be online or in-store? i work at a shoe store and I can tell you that when people return shoes to us we really don't look that closely to make sure that they're brand spanking new

Yeah they were bought online. Idk if thats better or worse for my situation.

If you ordered that boot online and it came to you in the condition you are returning them in, would you keep them? If you would return them to the company as used then you can't return them.

Returning to store - no problem(at least for me...)
Online, as in your case - Crossing my fingers for you, it can work if youre lucky

post a pic, most of the time stores near me say if you wear them inside its fine, outside is a no go. Also, whoever asked if they look new or used is right, that is important
