BMX grip poles

Im looking for a pair of poles that have a grip similar to a bmx bike handles because I use mittens. I had the darts until I bent one to a 90 degree angle. I loved the darts grip, but the pole itself was too long. The darts couldnt be cut down either without losing the grip. Im not ingenuitive and lazy so I dont want to make my own.

Isnt the smallest size they make 42 inches? I had 44 inchers and I felt that they were very long for me.

There isn't many companies with that type of grip, I felt line poles were too expensive so made my own. Sanded down some 130cm black salomon poles, taped them up with cheap electrical tape.needed to do a couple of rounds where the handle was going to go with duct tape and then put some box grips on. Having got the poles for free off of a friend who didnt want them it worked out a helluva lot cheaper than buying line poles. It's really not that much work.

POINTY STICKS WITH GRIPS!!!! Seriously though, LINE makes a sweet pole with a sweet grip. However, like razors-chaz said they are on the expensive side.

i did the same, and put lock on ODI grips. only took like 30 minutes. there pretty awesome.

I should say i did cut down the poles with a pipe cutter. Didnt take very long at all. And put bmx grips not box grips silly autocorrect. I used slide on grips with flanges. Put them on so the flanges were at the top, boom, grabtabs.

Why not just steal a pair of rental poles, cut them down then throw on mtb grips?

I still can't just paying so much something that i could bend/snap on the first day of use. I just go to the lost and found at my resort and get a pair from there.
