I never have had a facebook

I had a myspace but quickly, stopped using it since to me I didn't find it so appealing after a while. When I began highschool I contemplated on making one to talk to people about projects and hit friends up, stuff like that. Just never ended up making one. My mom eventually got one and this is when I really got to see how crazy some people get about face book. She would get home from work and stay up until 2:00 am some times later sitting on face book posting pictures, replying to peoples posts. Then one day she tells me that I need to make one so I have more friends. I tell her that I have more friends than she does and she replies I have 152 friends as she is looking at her facebook, and asks how many friends do you have? hahaha. Thats when I just walked away. All my friends numbers are in my phone so I hit them up that way. Try and convince me why I should make a face book.

I have one and to be completely honest, it is a waste of time. If I were you I wouldn't get one. It can be good in some ways, like for group messaging for school or something, but overall I don't think it is worth it.

I've posted less and less since I got one four years ago. The part that I would say is most useful is that you can contact people who's numbers you don't have. And honestly, who doesn't enjoy fb stalking the hotties.

I've never had one either until a couple weeks ago when I made it just to look at keystone park updates and such. I don't feel inclined to use it for much more than that either.

Same! Only reason I have a facebook is I made it in 05 when it wasn't complete shit. Now I have too many contacts around the country that I need. Well I mean I could live without them, but it def helps when you're traveling cross country to be able to get a hold of somebody.


Funny thing is I don't have an internet device on the road. No smart phone or laptop. I call people with computers and ask for help.

I've gotten into the habit of deleting almost all of the people I don't talk to any more or when someone posts something really annoying or stupid (bible verses, photo bombs, etc.)

Mine is just friends from high school, friends from the mountains, and friends from shows/traveling. I don't really go through and delete people cause I don't really care. If somebody posts stupid shit that's annoying, or asks for drugs I'll delete and block them. That's the thing that pissed me off the most.

People that make status' about selling drugs and message you asking if you have or need any of this and that. Delete/block

People are fucking dumb.

not sure if you are serious but those 152 friends are not what I would call "friends" if you know what I am saying. I told her I would rather physically be with my my friends doing something interesting instead of basically sending blocks of text o each other on a computer for 6+ hours a day. Plus I already have a phone that sends text, bitches send me pictures that would be deleted on face book. My phone = better than facebook in that regarde.

haha well she can be a bitch, but all moms can at certain points, she gets real bitchy over facebook though it told her she was addicted to it and she got real damn angry. To me some of her reactions are so damn funny and its her being herself and takes it very seriously. Most of the time she is nice though.

What surprised the hell out of me was when she figured out I smoked pot. She just sat me down asked me if I smoked ganja and I told the truth cause some parent talked to her and she said she was glad that I am trying new things and trusted me since nothing bad had happened so far. To me that was the last reaction I had pictured in my head.

Don't get a facebook, it is a waste of time and it will suck you in. When I first joined in 6th grade I liked every page I could for no apparent reason and I regret that decision to this day because of all the spam they post nowadays. God I hate the internet but it is just so much damn fun.
