Don't need one....you can just walk straight up the top lodge to come around and hike the features. I've done it before and park crew is usually cool about it
Looked for you a bit on come around, Simba. Saw a lot of boarders on crew but no skiers. Wasn't a park day anyway with all the snow dumping, so I probably just stopped by at wrong times.
If you don't have a season pass, I'm going to recommend not coming until the entire mountain's open. They're charging full price currently, and a lot of our trails are still closed and we've only got one park set up with 3 features. At least wait until lower terrain is setup, which I was told could possibly be set up by Monday.
I just don't want to see people come and blow 50 dollars and be surprised by a lack of terrain park.
Lower Terrain Run.... Tentative plans.... 2 Jumps (1 fairly bigger then the first) and 9 Rail Features.... Looks to be fun! If weather cooperates... Shred it Saturday AM... cross your fingers
Then blowing Come-around like crazy... Finish Line, Sidewinder, Lower Sidewinder.... snow has been made but need a few trails yet to free up enough Air to bombard it... Central and Air Bag should not be far off either....
Simba, you're one elusive mother fucker. Only time I saw you today was a random callout to a park crew skier which happened to be you. There must be a super-secret park that only park crew hits.
hahahaha I had no idea who that was that yelled my name. Was hoping there would be someone waiting at the top of the chair for me...BUT NOPE.
TBH I don't really ride much during the week. Since we've only got Comearound to maintain, we just walk over from the lodge, fix the lips/landings, and walk back.
If you're ever up and want to shred, just call or text me. 6109843096
hey guys just wondering if you can help out a few local skiers that love blue. They entered the billboard contest and are looking for some votes. they all frequent paskiandride though so I thought I'd crosspost over here for em.
In other new, glad to hear bear creek isn't the only ones with like 4 features out ha. Here's hoping we get some more natural snow soon to help out our sub pocono mountains.
I was there all day Wednesday and Thursday. I was pretty sure I saw a few guys around, but I wasn't sure. Saw Simba a few times, but you were always grabbing th chair when I noticed you. Oh well. Two good days if skiing because there wasn't anyone there. Haha.
Just got back. Was alright. Kinda sucks that the slow chairlift takes you to the park but oh well.
Spent some time hiking the rails. Used the 2nd to last feature to try 180s and 360s and tail-tap the end of the cylindrical rail after clearing it. Was with friends that didn't wanna try shit in the park so mostly just worked on skiing switch all day and finally started getting some good carving/linked switch turns in and went down a hill just spinning 3's the whole time.
