Goin out west for the first time

going to utah in febuarary i have never go out west before. I dont have pow skis so what if the best thing to do to get them. And any other stuff i shoudl know

This, if you have the energy for any apres ski activities other than dinner you're doing it wrong.

Rent/demo pow skis, its so, totally worth it, and not too expensive. (When I went to summit county I rented S7's for three days for 80$.)

Make conversation with locals in the lift line, sometimes they will show you around to some fun spots.

Buy some cheap 2011 or 2012 model pow skis on ebay for around what a week rental will cost. Leave your skis at home. Or buy some used ones off an NSer from Utah.

savor those moments out west, really an awesome time, but I recommend:

-drink lots of water for like a week or so before
-dont buy pow skis, just demo them if you get dumped on when your there
-be prepared to pay $20ish+ for lunch if your not gonna pack a lunch
-take pictures, bitches love them, and so will your mom

OH yea and pay attention to the post above, WATER IS IMPORTANT MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE EVER.

and i recommend wearing cotton boxers to soak up your splooge.

Demo your skis or try to rent them cheap if you can't find a demo. Make sure you at least try to hit up Snowbird, Park City, and Canyons. There are a lot of other great resorts near those also so if you can, get to as many as you can!

Utah is extremely dry and the elevation will most likely cause your skiing capacity to suffer. Drink more water than you think, you dehydrate quickly out here. I ski at snowbird and always have water on hand, plus the tram deck has a water fountain. DON'T DEMO FROM CHRISTY SPORTS! Had some bad experiences at that place.
